As a registered charity, Acorn Playgroup and Pre-School nursery relies on fundraising to provide new equipment and resources for the children.  Our fundraising events are led by our Team of Trustees.  Here are some ways you can get involved.

• Join us or help at one of our upcoming events

• Earn us commission by doing your shopping through easyfundraising  or AmazonSmile - without it costing you an extra penny!

         easyfundraising and Amazon Smile are two very simple ways in which we can raise money for Acorn without any effort and it costs          you nothing. Both are donations websites that take a % of your purchases and donate them to your chosen charity. Donations                      range from 0.5% through to 10%. ​

         easyfundraising:​

         It's very easy to download the app on your phone, PC or laptop into your browser. You will then need to register on the website first           and tell easyfundraising who you want to support – you will find Acorn Playgroup and Pre-school listed on the website. This is our             link https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/acornwelwyn/ When you make purchases from an affiliated  retailer, you have to             remember to shop via the app, which will take you to the retailers website and you continue your shopping as normal from  there.             You can activate the donation reminder so that you never miss a donation. 

         Amazon Smile:

         All you have to do is log on to https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ and click on AmazonSmile in the list of options under the title bar.                     Select your  chosen charity - we are listed as Acorn Playgroup and Pre-school, Whitehill, Welwyn. Once selected, it will show up on           your profile and all purchases you make through Amazon Smile will generate a 0.5% donation.
